LifeGuide Essentials: What to Expect
1. Intro Meeting
During your complimentary, no-strings-attached intro meeting, we will get to know each other and understand your financial situation and what you are hoping to accomplish. In this discussion, we’ll:
- Answer your questions
- Review your pre-work questionnaire
- Clarify and quantify your goals
- Make sure we have everything needed to complete your assessment
- Review our services and fees, and recommend the best LifeGuide Essentials service plan for you
After the meeting, we will follow up with an advisory agreement and payment information.

2. FirstStep Meeting
After you enroll and we have all the information needed, we will get to work organizing your financial picture, performing your financial assessment, and identifying your FirstStep goals. In the meantime, you will schedule your FirstStep Meeting—your first official meeting as a LifeGuide client! In this meeting, we’ll:
- Review your net worth and cash flow
- Deliver your financial assessment as compared to standard benchmarks
- Discuss your goals and answer the question, “Am I on track?”
- Review your opportunities and our recommendations
- Detail your FirstStep goals
- Book your NextStep meeting
3. NextStep Meetings
During the first year of our Essentials program, we plan to meet together every 90 days. Breaking larger goals into actionable, attainable NextSteps creates momentum. And these small successes add up over time. Our 90-day NextStep check-in meetings allow us to provide guidance, advice, and motivation throughout the year. In each NextStep meeting we’ll:
- Review progress on your previous FirstStep or NextStep goals
- Discuss what worked, what was a challenge, and how we can help
- Answer your questions
- Define your new NextStep
- Provide guidance, tips, tools, and resources to help you successfully accomplish your NextStep
- Book your following NextStep or OnTrack meeting
3. NextStep Meetings

4. OnTrack Review Meeting
Life happens, circumstances change, and goals evolve. Each year, we’ll meet together for our OnTrack Annual Review where we’ll:
- Review your investments and performance (if enrolled in Essentials Investment Management)
- Celebrate the progress you’ve made in the last year
- Review your updated cash flow and net worth statements
- Review and adjust your goals if needed
- Answer your questions
- Review your needs and select an Essentials service package for the upcoming year
