Local organizations making a Kingdom impact

We created the LifeGuide Impact Fund in 2014 as a way to support local non-profit organizations making a positive and lasting impact. As we look ahead to 2021, we wanted to take a moment to highlight just a few of the incredible organizations we’ve been honored to walk alongside this past year:

• New Life Community Church

  • Mission: “Expand the margins where all people are welcome to grow together. We believe that everyone needs to experience Jesus, and connect with people who love them. We also believe it’s important for everyone to have something significant to invest in God’s kingdom. This is a community of diverse people serving others and fulfilling the mission that God has given to us in what may seem like the craziest of ways.”

• Brethren Housing Association

  • Mission: “Helping individuals and families, who are experiencing homelessness, achieve their God-given potential by providing a holistic program of stable housing, supportive services and loving relationships.”

• Project SHARE

  • Mission: “In response to God’s call to love one another, and bolstered by the spirit of generosity in volunteers, staff, clients, gleaning partners and donors, Project SHARE food pantry programs and partnerships meet the evolving needs of people on their journey to freedom from want.”

• Logos Academy Harrisburg

  • Mission: “To serve Harrisburg as a community school, grounded in the love of Christ and providing a rich education of mind and soul for students from diverse ethnic and socioeconomic backgrounds.”

• New Hope Ministries

  • Mission: “New Hope Ministries is a Christian social service agency that shows the love and hope of Christ by serving our neighbors in times of need and supporting their efforts toward stability.”

• Community CARES

  • Mission: “Community CARES seeks to serve and strengthen the community of Carlisle-area by providing emergency shelter, resources, and supportive services to individuals and families experiencing homelessness.”

• Camp Hebron

  • Mission: “To cultivate a sanctuary where people connect with God, nature, and each other.” 

• Young Life South Central PA

  • Location: Carlisle, PA
  • Mission: “To introduce adolescents to Jesus Christ and helping them grow in their faith by praying for them, going where kids are and building personal relationships with them, earning the right to share the Good News of Jesus Christ, and providing life-changing experiences.”

• Bridge of Hope

  • Mission: “To engage Christian faith communities in ending family homelessness through neighboring relationships that demonstrate Christ’s love.”
